About me
Delia: Delia Carmen Pérez-Solórzano is a first-generation immigrant born and raised in Chicago and a product of the Chicago Public Schools. She identifies as a queer Latina, a mother, and wife. She is an educator with over twenty years of experience in K-12 public education. She has held positions such as classroom teacher, curriculum and instruction coach, volleyball and basketball coach, and program director of tutoring/mentoring programs for non-profit education organizations. Currently, Delia is an Education Doctorate candidate at Baker University and works as an independent Process/Strategy Consultant for starter non-profit organizations. Her focus in this role is to create conditions for non-profit leaders to imagine the possibilities, to dream, and to align their structures and process to their mission and values.
