I am a lifelong learner and love connecting with people to learn from their stories & experiences-which is one of the reasons I enjoy the Leadership EDIT each year. I believe in nurturing a curious mind about the world and I am especially passionate about neuroscience, trauma-informed practices, and play & expressive therapies!
As a licensed professional counselor, I have been supporting children and families for the past 18 years in schools, mental health juvenile justice, in-patient and community mental health, sexual violence recovery & victim services, and private practice. I utilize creativity & play therapy to meet students where they are and share information about stress & resiliency for all ages. I also enjoy supporting therapists/counselors in their continued learning journeys through supervision and providing relevant professional development.
